All Techspec services originates within the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD), the International guide for the use of the S-Series Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) specifications. Within this suite of ILS specifications, the S1000D (International specification for technical publications using a common source database) has been applied several times.
The starting point of any S1000D Project is to understand the project requirements and outcomes, and to this end the S1000D Business Rules must be developed for the project. We address the product definition, operational concepts and maintenance philosophies, interfaces with other disciplines, management processes, configuration processes, quality processes, standardising and managing the creation of text and illustrations to be applied to the S1000D project.
